Shakespeare Celebration Campaign with Viking

I was very kindly gifted a box from Viking to get creative with. I will be honest and say I haven't read any Shakespeare since school, but he is a very important part of the history of writing. Lisa from Lisa's Notebook did a great post with some fascinating insights into whether Shakespeare is still relevant, you can find it here.

I am not an overly creative person, but I have been wanting to expand my hobbies and this box has some great things in to get me started.

So first up there is the calligraphy set which I am sure you will agree is beautiful. I was actually looking into starting to teach myself calligraphy a while back. Now, I haven't used the caligraphy set for two reasons. 1. It is sooo pretty! 2. I want to wait until I have practiced a bit and am much better than I am now.

Also included in the box was a gold frame, and some lovely little bits that will be great for photos including petals and wooden letters.

There was also a book included, which I haven't had a chance to read yet. It's called YOLO Juliet, according to the back of book it is one of the greatest stories ever told... in texts.

So this is what I created with what was included in the box. As I said at the beginning, I am not an overly creative person but I tried my best!
