Author Bio
Donna Ashcroft was born in London and grew up in Buckinghamshire. She went to university in Lancashire and, among other things, worked as a copywriter, buyer, waitress, secretary and marketing manager.

Donna wrote novels for over ten years before being published. She is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association and was a joint winner of the Katie Fforde Bursary in 2017.
Donna loves a happy ending and is never happier than when she's escaping into a romance novel or movie. When she's not reading or writing she'll probably be found hoovering … or negotiating with her teenagers about who is doing the washing up.

My Review

I read this in a day I couldn't put it down. Having never read any of this authors work before I didn't know what to expect, I was not disappointed! Although it is a Christmas book it's not overly Christmassy. I loved the whole feel of it and the authors style of writing really made me not want to put it down.
I loved the relationship between Lily and Josh and how it grew and changed through the story. They are given the job of helping to plan Josh's brother and Lily's friend's wedding. Clearly from the start their opinions are very different about what makes a nice wedding day. They go through a couple of bumps  (sometimes literally) and each have there own issues, but I liked the way the progression in their relationship was written. Josh was by far my favourite character, I found him to be witty, fun and entertaining.
An all round charming story and I would definitely recommend this book and will be reading more of Donna Ashcroft's work.
Thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this lovely book. Find out what other's thought of this novel by following the blog tour.
