This book grabbed me from the first chapter, the discovery of a body in a shallow grave on a golf course, literally fell upon by a runaway burglar.
Hunter is a no-nonsense character, who takes his role as a police officer seriously. He is intent on finding whoever is responsible for the spate of murders he is charged with investigating.
One thing I liked about this book was the characters, each was well thought out and written in such a way to each bring something to the telling of the story.
Aside from Hunter, my favourite character was definitely Tim. He is trying to build a career in the police, whilst living in the shadow of his father. His relationship with his girlfriend and their cat was great to read about.
I enjoyed the whole premise of the book and can't wait to read the sequel. I would like to learn more about the characters and how they develop. Hunter has a love interest but the timing never seems to be right for them to get together (I hope this relationship is developed more in the next book).

Thank you to Rachel for inviting me to take on this blog tour. Make sure to catch up with rest of tour and find out what others thought.
